Artistic short story collection Miniatures available now on Nintendo Switch, Steam, itch.io, and iOS

The BAFTA-nominated studio behind Tick Tock: A Tale for Two presents an award-winning anthology where childhood imagination merges with darkness, mystery, and magical realism.

Copenhagen, Denmark - 14th November, 2024 - Other Tales Interactive, the multi-award-winning indie team behind co-op puzzler Tick Tock: A Tale for Two (Google Play Award 2020 - Most Inventive), is excited to announce Miniatures - a thought-provoking, surreal collection of interactive short stories - is available now for Nintendo Switch, Steam, itch.io, and iOS.

Open an old wooden box and discover mysterious worlds where childhood imagination merges with darkness and magical realism. Through four handcrafted and visually captivating stories, explore, interact, and watch the world shift as an enigmatic, artist-led anthology invites you to play through everyday moments seen from a child's perspective.

Described by Rock Paper Shotgun as 'a perfectly lovely unpleasant time' and TheGamer as 'surreal, simple, and stunning', this award-winning arthouse experience (IndieCade 2024's Visual Design Spotlight Award, A MAZE Berlin 2024's WINGS Award, and Digital Vikings Awards 2024's Best Upcoming Game Art Style) is split across four interactive short stories and designed to take 30 to 45 minutes to play.

Explore a mysterious seascape in The House of the Moon, build odd furniture in Familiar, feed a lizard in The Paludarium, and play with sand in The Last Sand Castle. Inspired by graphic novels and contemporary adventure games, each story has been handcrafted with its own distinct gameplay and art style, and can be played on Switch, Steam Deck, and iOS with intuitive touch controls. Take care and welcome to the world of Miniatures.

Tanja Tankred, Writer: "We are thrilled to finally release our collection of surreal stories after four years of development. We can’t wait for players to open up the box in Miniatures and pick an object!"

Miniatures is available now on Nintendo Switch, Steam (PC, Steam Deck, Mac), and itch.io (PC, Mac, Linux) for $5.99/£4.99/€5.89, in addition to iOS for $2.99/£2.99/€2.99.
