Did you know that 25% of the global population relies on rainforests for their livelihoods, including the 50 million people that live there? Cool Earth is a groundbreaking charity dedicated to halting deforestation and combating climate change by empowering indigenous communities to protect their rainforests. These forests are the lungs of our planet, absorbing carbon dioxide and providing a home for countless species. But they’re under constant threat from logging, agriculture, and climate change.
But the good news is their approach works: Cool Earth partnerships experience up to 82% less deforestation than neighbouring lands.
We are living in a time where more people than ever before are united against the climate crisis.
