Łódź, Poland - 30th November, 2023 - All aboard! Something Random Studio is delighted to announce their first title, the playful track-building VR game Toy Trains, is boarding for passengers on PlayStation VR2, Meta Quest 3 and 2, and SteamVR from January 16th 2024.
Made with love by former developers of the smash hit VR game SUPERHOT, Toy Trains invites you to create the model railway of your dreams, solving open-ended puzzles in a cozy, colorful miniature world where vintage toys spring to life and childhood memories are rediscovered.
Marcin Jóźwik, Lead Game Designer, said: "We want to create a space for people to relax, feel clever and proud of what they have built - with lots of cuteness and nostalgia on top!"
Open a long-forgotten dusty suitcase in your grandpa's attic: inside, it's full steam ahead to Toy Trains Land, a nostalgic, creative VR playground designed to flex your brain and unlock your imagination. With gorgeous storybook graphics, satisfying animations, and a cozy original soundtrack, the board is yours to build, design, and create. Clink together pieces of track, decorate to your heart's desire (with stacks of hay, little farms, and more), and unwind with challenges and puzzles that let you play at your own pace - there's no timer, no score, no rush!
Can't wait until January? To get players' pistons pumping for the official release, a free demo for SteamVR will be available as part of Steam VR Fest from December 4th.
