Point-and-click adventure provides whimsical murder mystery gameplay
Sheffield, UK, July 28, 2022 - Cave Monsters today launch point-and-click adventure game Lord Winklebottom Investigates on PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox consoles. Developed by solo game developer Charlotte Sutherland, the 1920s-inspired caper is a whimsical murder mystery featuring an oddball cast of animal characters.
Play as the eponymous Lord Winklebottom, a giraffe detective in a fabulous top hat as he and his faithful companion Dr Frumple take on their most challenging case yet - the grisly murder of an old friend. Uncover clues, question suspects and solve a variety of tricky puzzles to crack the case and capture the killer.
Experience a humorous script with full English voice-acting, beautifully unique hand-painted 2D artwork and a world that’s not quite like our own as this gentlemanly giraffe delves into the mystery at the heart of the Isle of Barghest.

About Cave Monsters
Cave Monsters is a small, independent game developer based in Sheffield, UK. The one-woman development studio consists of Charlotte Sutherland, who previously worked on titles such as LittleBigPlanet 3, SEGA All-Stars Racing Transformed, and LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga at studios such as Rare, EA, and TT Games. The studio’s first game is point-and-click adventure, Lord Winklebottom investigates.
