Popular snowboarding arcade racer Slopecrashers gets online multiplayer as demo hits Steam Next Fest
Hit the slopes and outperform your friends with a motley crew of animals on snowboards
Linz, Austria - 31st January, 2023 - Byteparrot are delighted to announce a new demo for the popular Slopecrashers as part of the Spring Steam Next Fest, from February 6th to 13th.
Hit the slopes, perform tricks to boost your speed, and use items to knock out your rivals with a wild crew of animals as they band together on a world-spanning snowboarding adventure. Race it out solo, with up to four players in local co-op, or with eight pals in the new online Competitive Multiplayer Mode on various hilariously fun courses - including the snowy landscape of Snowmansslope.
The new demo will also see a whole host of updates for players, including the return of the popular Neon City Construction Site course, now with other game modes and more improvements to the track; a new demo campaign that players can progress through locally and unlock more items to be used in the new online mode; a new tutorial, and updated characters and UI; as well as more modifiers in Arcade Mode, which means you can change the event rules or even mirror the whole track.
"I am very excited to finally bring my game Slopecrashers to Steam Next Fest, which finally marks the first public test of the most requested feature, online multiplayer!” says Johannes Lugstein, developer of Slopecrashers. “So, in addition to being able to play through a new demo campaign in single - or local multiplayer, you can now invite your friends from across the globe and play together! I hope a lot of players have fun racing down the slopes of Slopecrashers!"
The Slopecrashers demo will be available for free on Steam as part of the Spring Steam Next Fest from February 6th - with Competitive Multiplayer Mode available for a limited time only.
