Tick Tock: A Tale for Two developers announce new game Miniatures for PC and mobile in 2024
Embark on a journey of nostalgia and imagination through four lovingly crafted adventures from the award-winning Other Tales Interactive.
Copenhagen, Denmark - 13th September, 2023 - Other Tales Interactive are delighted to announce their next game, Miniatures, will be coming to Steam and mobile in 2024.
An entirely new and peculiar experience comes from the minds behind the award-winning eerie co-op puzzler Tick Tock: A Tale for Two, composed of four handcrafted story adventures from a child's perspective. In an old wooden box sits four items: a toy lizard, a framed moth, a screwdriver, and a seashell, each with their own story to tell.
Miniatures invites players to engage and reconnect with the mysteries and wonders of childhood with each game featuring its own unique graphic style and gameplay. Help a family assemble a flat pack cabinet in Familiar, play as a boy left home alone when nature starts taking over in The Paludarium, transform a sand castle into a mini town with the power of imagination in The Last Sand Castles, and help Alma search for her lost mother in a vast and gorgeous seascape in Night Hunt.
Explore one story at a time, or play through all four in one sitting in this new adventure about the stories we tell ourselves and how they shape our world.
"After releasing Tick Tock: A Tale for Two, we got fascinated by the smaller but impactful stories found in picture books and short story collections," said Tanja Tankred, Writer. "We experimented with multiple stories and art styles until a peculiar tone started to emerge. We are incredibly excited to share this odd collection with you."
Miniatures will be available on Steam and mobile in 2024.
