Treachery in Beatdown City: Ultra Remix to launch this September on Switch, PC and Xbox

A new action-packed trailer arrives at The MIX ahead of the full relaunch of the original 2020 hit game this September 13th. ​

Atlanta, Georgia - 1st September, 2023 - NuChallenger are delighted to announce that the hotly anticipated Treachery in Beatdown City: Ultra Remix will launch on September 13th on Steam, Nintendo Switch and, for the first time, Xbox. ​ 

Announced at The MIX with a punchy new trailer, Treachery in Beatdown City: Ultra Remix is a adrenalin-fuelled relaunch of the original 2020 smash - with three times the Beatdown, including new levels, new enemy types, and new music from Inverse Phase, as well as a newly developed opening tutorial and enhanced cutscenes.

A complete 2.0 launch in all but name, Ultra Remix welcomes players back to Beatdown City to face off against the WORST people as you fight to save the kidnapped president Blake Orama! ​ Experience punched-up attacks, from all-new dashing strikes to backflip kicks, and re-imagined defense options to fight off hordes of terrible tourists, abusive cops, washed up wrestlers and ninja dragon terrorists in this epic story and content update from one “of the most relevant, of-the-moment video games of 2020” (LA Times).

For PC only, players can flex their muscles as President Blake Orama in the new Treachery Beatdown City: Gaiden, a free-to-play prologue set to launch alongside Ultra Remix later this month. Fans will be able to get an early look at PAX West this weekend.

Treachery in Beatdown City: Ultra Remix will be available from September 13th for $29.99 on Xbox consoles, and as a $9.99 update on PC and Nintendo Switch, or free for existing owners of the game.
