Yakuza: Like A Dragon’s Takaya Kuroda and Legend of Zelda’s Ayano Shibuya to voice leads in Promise Mascot Agency
An all-star cast of talent is announced for the much-anticipated mascot management sim due out later this year.
London, UK - 15th January, 2025 - Kaizen Game Works are ecstatic to announce that Takaya Kuroda (Yakuza: Like a Dragon) and Ayana Shibuya (The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom) are leading an exciting voice cast for new mascot management sim Promise Mascot Agency.
In a smoking hot new trailer from the studio, Eri Saito (Chainsaw Man, Metal Gear Solid 4, Way of the Samurai 3), Shuhei Yoshida (handsome industry hero), and Swery (Deadly Premonition, The Good Life, Spy Fiction) are also revealed to be joining the cast - with more to be announced.
“We can’t believe that our weird game managed to attract such a strong voice cast. When our lead Japanese localiser, Roppyaku Tsurumi, told us that Kuroda-san had auditioned, we just about lost our minds,” said Oli Clarke Smith, Game Director. “All of the cast have brought our group of misfits to life wonderfully. After working on these characters for four years, they have become like friends to us, and we’re so happy that they have all been given a voice.”
Takaya Kuroda voices the disgraced ex-yakuza Michi, exiled to the forgotten (and quite definitely cursed) Japanese town of Kaso-Machi with two goals: pay off his debt and restore glory to the town’s defunct mascot agency! Recruit the weird and wonderful mascots across town with help from your severed finger assistant manager and chaos goblin, Pinky☆ - voiced by Ayana Shibuya, negotiate their contracts and assign them jobs they love.
It’s a big task, and it’s made even harder by the hot crime mystery at the centre of Kaso-Michi. Investigate forbidden secrets and unravel conspiracies all while trying to solve the mystery of your exile and the nightmare spirits who seem a little too interested in your business.
