Folk Horror Roguelite Harvest Hunt prowls towards May launch for Steam

Watch the haunting new trailer revealed at IGN Fan Fest featuring an eerie voiceover from Samantha Béart.

London, UK - 20th February, 2024 - Villainous Games Studio and Neonhive Games are thrilled to announce that Harvest Hunt will launch on Steam this May with a spine-chilling new trailer at IGN Fan Fest.

The eerie trailer reveals the plight of your forsaken village, as told by Samantha Béart (Baldur’s Gate 3, The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, Cabernet). In the desolate lands of Luna Nova, death awaits the village every Harvest season. You have been chosen as the next Warden, to protect the villagers from the creatures that threaten to devour them - and to ensure their survival by gathering the precious resources they need to survive.

Don the Warden’s mask and brave the Farmlands around the village of Luna Nova. Seal your fate each night by drawing cards, known as Whispers, to unlock otherworldly abilities and modifiers that may help or hinder you in your vigil, affecting both the environment and the Devourer stalking your every move.

Brave grim surroundings, horrifying monsters and buried secrets to piece together the story of Luna Nova.

“As a small team, we are over the moon that the trailer for Harvest Hunt will be appearing at IGN Fan Fest. We have worked hard to have a fun, spooky and replayable game for players the world over,” said Mark Drew, Creative Director of Villainous Games Studio. “Having the astounding Samantha Béart bring the chills to our trailer was a natural choice. We can't wait for everyone to see it and get to play the game in May.”

Will you survive your vigil?  Or succumb to the monsters lurking in the dark?

Harvest Hunt will be the first published title by new indie games publisher Neonhive Games, which launched this morning. The game will be available in May 2024 and a demo is currently available to download on Steam.
